Privacy policy

At Find It Fit we take your privacy seriously. Below we explain, in plain language, what data we process, what for and on what legal basis. We do not sell your personal data to anyone. This policy is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish law.

Who the controller is

The controller of your data is Àlex González Iglesias, owner of Find It Fit, who publishes this site and the app in a personal capacity. You can get in touch at hola@finditfitapp.com for anything about your data or this policy, and at privacidad@finditfitapp.com to exercise your rights.

What data we collect on this site

This site is mainly informational and can be browsed without signing up. If you fill in the contact form or the survey, we collect the data you give us (such as your email address and your answers). We do not use third-party advertising and we do not profile you.

Health data (important)

Some answers or dietary preferences — being coeliac or diabetic, or having allergies or intolerances — can reveal health data, which the law treats as a special category. We only process them if you provide them voluntarily and with your explicit consent, and only for the purpose stated to you. You can withdraw that consent at any time. In the app, these preferences are stored on your device only and are never uploaded to our servers.

What we use it for and legal basis

We use the data to answer your queries, manage the list of people interested in the launch and improve the service. The legal basis is your consent (which you may withdraw) and our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the site.

Cookies

We only use the storage that is necessary for the site to work. If you accept, we may use aggregated usage statistics to improve it. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie notice.

Who we share it with

To operate, we rely on providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database), Vercel (site hosting), Cloudflare (domain and email), OpenStreetMap and CARTO (maps) and Tally (forms). Some may host data outside the European Union; where that happens, the safeguards required by the GDPR apply, such as standard contractual clauses. We do not sell or hand over your data for third-party advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as it is still needed for the purpose you gave it for, or until you ask us to delete it. After that we erase it, except for anything the law requires us to keep.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, erase it, object to its processing, restrict it, and to data portability. You may also withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to privacidad@finditfitapp.com. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Marketing communications

We will only send you news or marketing communications if you have expressly accepted it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by writing to us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If there are significant changes, we will say so here with a new update date.
