Find It Fit lists 314 places in Graz (Austria): 183 restaurants, 71 cafés and 60 food shops. Of the restaurants and cafés, 234 are vegetarian, 86 have the menu analysed dish by dish (3,104 different dishes) and 54 have the price worked out from their menu. This guide picks the 15 whose menu offers the most, for anyone who eats no meat or fish.

How we choose

Nobody pays to be listed. Not to appear and not for the order. How we decide which places get in.
What the menu says comes first. For someone who eats vegetarian what counts is real main dishes (not sides or «one salad»), with varied protein: legumes, tofu, tempeh, eggs, cheese, nuts (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics). A menu scores if the whole place is vegetarian or vegan (45), for each vegetarian main (4, up to 32), for each different protein source (3, up to 9) and if dishes are marked on the menu (5). Each place gets a score from 0 to 100 and the list follows that order; under each one you will see why, and the dishes that justify it. Verified information (claimed listing, own description, price from the menu) only breaks ties. The full criterion, with its sources.

When is it updated?

The guide is regenerated every day from the Find It Fit database; the month in the title shows the latest review. Places that close or change their menu drop out or move on their own.

What does each place’s score mean?

It is what its menu offers anyone who eats no meat or fish, from 0 to 100, with the criterion above. It does not measure how tasty the food is or the service: it measures what is written on the menu. A 60 with many valid dishes and sugar-free drinks is a better starting point than a 20 with «one salad». And it is the order of this list: the first is the one with the most points today.
